Moscow. 25th of April. INTERFAX.RU – Special services officers in Dagestan detained several more people in the case of multimillion-dollar thefts at Dagenergo, PJSC Rosseti North Caucasus told Interfax.
“Over the past 24 hours, security forces have detained 10 more people in connection with the theft case at Dagenergo (a branch of PJSC Rosseti Northern Caucasus). All of them are heads of structural divisions of the company,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Earlier it was reported that in Dagestan, the head of the branch of Rosseti Northern Caucasus PJSC – Dagenergo, Magomedhabib Mukhumaev, was detained and arrested for two months. He is suspected of fraud in excess of 2.8 billion rubles.
Together with Mukhumaev, another 25 people were arrested for the same period, most of whom are also employees of the energy company. Inspections at Dagenergo divisions continue.
The press service of Rosseti Northern Caucasus PJSC previously stated that the company assists the work of law enforcement agencies.
