In particular, according to the governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamina Kondratyevain the Slavyansky, Seversky and Kushchevsky districts, more than ten drones were allegedly suppressed.

“They tried to attack refineries and infrastructure facilities. As reported from the field, there were no casualties or serious damage. Operational services are extinguishing the fire as a result of the fall of the UAV,” he wrote.

According to Russian public reports, around five o’clock explosions occurred in the suburbs of Slavyansk-on-Kuban. A bright glow was seen in the sky. Local residents write that before this they heard the sound of an engine in the sky.

The attack was confirmed by the administration of the Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar region.

“There was a UAV attack on the territory of the plant in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. In total, there were nine attacks on the tank farm and distillation column. Thanks to the built protection system, the tank farm was not damaged. The distillation column was damaged. The fire was extinguished by the joint efforts of the responsible services, there were no casualties “, the message says.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy responded to the attacks on Russian facilities. They noted that two oil refineries were attacked in the Krasnodar Territory.

“Preliminarily, attacks were carried out on the Slavyansk-EKO oil refinery, a bitumen plant, the Ilsky oil refinery and a number of other facilities. After the attack, a fire broke out at some facilities. From open sources it became known that a military airfield in the village of Kushchevsk, Krasnodar Territory, also caught fire after the attack UAV,” noted the Ministry of Energy.

In Russia, another fuel infrastructure facility recently burned down. A fire occurred at a storage and refueling site for tank trucks in Omsk.

According to Russian public information, three fuel tanks were burning there, each with a volume of 50 cubic meters.
