Baltika newcomer midfielder Kristijan Bistrovich, whose rights belong to CSKA, commented on his debut for the Kaliningrad club.
Bistrovich took part in the match of the 8th round of the MIR RPL with Rostov (2:2) and scored a goal.
— An ideal debut? Not very modest, but yes (laughs). The debut really turned out great. Although there is always room to grow. I was looking forward to getting on the field. This is my first official game in four months, I was very excited. I really missed football and official matches, I enjoyed every minute, every second on the field! I’m happy to score a goal in my first match for Baltika. I’m disappointed that we didn’t manage to win against Rostov, but we showed our potential and character. If we hadn’t made stupid mistakes, three points would have been in our pocket,” Bistrovich was quoted as saying by “Championship.”
The move to Baltika is Bistrovich’s fifth loan since he became an army player in 2018. The midfielder played for the Turkish Kasimpasa and Fatih Karagumruk, the Italian Lecce and the Dutch Fortuna (Sittard).
