Moscow. 20 November. INTERFAX.RU – Four-time world champion in cross-country skiing, Norwegian Emil Iversen, said that after the removal of the Russians, he and his teammates had problems with motivation.

“It goes without saying that it has become difficult to motivate ourselves. In recent years, they have been almost our only competitors. We can hope that peace will come and they can return,” Nettavisen quotes the 32-year-old athlete as saying.

Earlier, the Council of the International Ski Federation (FIS) decided not to lift the suspension from Russian and Belarusian athletes “in accordance with the recommendations of the IOC.”
