Today, April 24, Ferrari announced the signing of a long-term agreement with Hewlett Packard. In this regard, the team changed its name to Scuderia Ferrari HP. The American technology company’s blue logo will appear on Ferrari’s car livery and driver’s overalls, starting with the Miami Grand Prix next week.
“Our founder passed on to us his constant desire for progress. From this stems our commitment to innovation on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future: from carbon neutrality to educating younger generations. HP shares these values, making us ideal partners. We look forward to starting our cooperation and jointly solving new problems,” the team’s press service quotes Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna on one of the social networks.
HP became the Italian team’s first title sponsor since 2021, when it was officially known as Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow under a deal with US tobacco giant Philip Morris International. Mission Winnow will remain Ferrari’s partner, but the team’s deal with HP will help the Italian team secure the salary of seven-time world champion Briton Lewis Hamilton, who will replace Carlos Sainz at the start of next season.
