Starting next season, Nico Hulkenberg will drive for Sauber: Hinwil confirmed that a multi-year contract has been signed with the German driver, and in 2026, after reorganization, when the team receives factory status, he will become the first Audi driver.
As is clear from the Sauber press release, Nico, with his experience of more than 200 Grand Prix, will become an important link in the further development of the team. Over the next season, Hulkenberg will combine racing in Formula 1 with work on building the first Audi car for 2026.
