
Chapter Xbox Phil Spencer says in some interviews that Microsoft I haven’t decided yet what platforms it will be released on. The Elder Scrolls VIthereby leaving fans PlayStation illusory hope for a multiplatform release. However, within the company, it seems that this issue was closed long ago.
Today, a new batch of documents prepared by Microsoft lawyers for last summer’s proceedings with the US Federal Trade Commission have appeared online, and one of them directly shows that The Elder Scrolls VI will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. Game release expected in 2026 or later.
Interestingly, at the trial of the purchase of Activision Blizzard, Xbox head Phil Spencer saidthat it is now difficult for him to imagine what the market will be like at the time of the release of the next RPG from Bethesda and what systems will be presented on it.
“It’s difficult to say now… this game is so far away that it’s even difficult to imagine what platforms will be available on the market at the time of its release.
There are currently no plans to port Redfall to other systems. And Starfield, as we already said, will be exclusive.”
The Elder Scrolls VI was announced with a short teaser in 2018. Later, Todd Howard repeatedly explained that Bethesda would be able to develop it only after the release of Starfield.
