The series’ famous voice actor recently shared a photo of himself with Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4.
Konami began a new era for the Metal Gear Solid franchise with the release of the disappointing Metal Gear Solid Master Collection. This allowed us to hope for modern ports of games like Metal Gear Solid 4.
The publisher claims that future games will depend on fan demand, and David Hayter appears to be hinting at something related to Metal Gear Solid 4. He posted a photo of Solid Snake, the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 4, and said:
Since Konami has already announced another Master Collection, and references to this title were seen in the first collection, this could be part of another clever teaser from David Hayter.
The post sparked speculation among fans on Twitter. Many believe that the voice actor made a subtle nod to the long-forgotten Konami classic, continuing the wave of teasers from October.
Last month, David Hayter released a special video with Konami, where the actor said:
“This is just the beginning.”
The publisher’s plans may also include a remaster of Metal Gear Solid 4, which will allow the game to be transferred to current generation consoles and PCs.
