For the first couple of months, I used the Vision Pro every day, sometimes multiple times. Now I do this no more than once or twice a week.
I initially used the Vision Pro for watching movies and YouTube, or when I needed a Mac display to get more immersed in my work. Today, after my initial excitement wore off, it became clear that the Vision Pro is too bulky for daily use.
The entire process of connecting the battery, booting the device, and navigating the interface is often not worth the effort. In addition, the very application that would force me to pick up the headset has not yet appeared. It’s much easier to just use a laptop and watch videos on a computer or large TV.
The Vision Pro also takes me away from the real world, making it awkward to use the headset with family or coworkers. It’s best to use it alone, for example during a long flight or when working from home.
