New footage has appeared on the network in which the film “Prey 2” has been leaked with the new Predator, which surprised many viewers expecting a sequel.
The poster for the film “Prey 2” was posted online. It showed a new Predator right in the center, being watched by two people. Judging by the presented poster, the film “Prey 2” changed the setting and lost the main character Nara, played by actress Amber Midthunder. If in the first “Prey” the Predator measured his strength with the Comanche tribe, then here the alien arrived on Earth during the first half of the twentieth century. The poster also indicates that Extraction 2 will be directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who directed the first part.
While many fans of the Predator franchise have been enthusiastic about the new poster, it is actually a fan creation. At the moment, the film “Extraction 2” is not in active development, although it was officially announced. Now director Dan Trachtenberg is busy with the film “Wasteland,” a new project from the Predator universe. It was previously reported that “Wasteland” is a priority for 20th Century Studios. Only after the release of this picture will the authors be able to begin creating “Prey 2,” the plot of which is still unknown.
The Predator film franchise is currently being revived by 20th Century Studios, as is the Alien franchise. There are several projects in the works based on these cinematic universes. At the same time, projects about Alien will be released soon. The film Alien 5: Romulus will be released in theaters on August 16, 2024, and an Alien TV series should also be released in 2025. “Wasteland” and “Prey 2” with the new Predator do not yet have a release date.
