Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Hexe back in 2022, after a number of rumors and leaks. But over the past time, we have learned very few details about the future game. Presumably, work on Hexe is in the early stages, and its release will not take place until 2026.

Well-known insider Tom Henderson said that he was sent a recording of a fragment of Assassin’s Creed Hexe under conditions of non-disclosure. As we already know, the game will take place in Germany in the 16th century, at the height of the witch hunt. And our heroine will be a witch, whose name is Elsa for now.

Provided to Insider Gaming, the clip shows a dark and gloomy setting on the cobblestone streets of the city. Elsa is hunted by soldiers and uses a spell to subdue a nearby cat. The player then controls the cat and uses it to distract the soldiers by knocking over and breaking a glass bottle.

Sources also said that the game plans to implement a fear system inspired by the expansion. Jack The Ripper To Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The exact details are still unknown, but given the historical setting, the fear that a persecuted witch might experience is understandable.
