Remember Project Awakening? It’s an impressive game that was revealed by CyGames back in 2016 and hasn’t been heard from for three years, but apparently hasn’t been canceled and the team is still working on it, judging by recent reports.

On Twitter, the development team told fans the following:.

“Hello, our team has several important messages for you: 1. Our game has not been canceled! 2. We work hard to provide you with the best possible experience. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months. Thank you for your continued support!”

This could mean a new trailer or updates at upcoming presentations such as the Summer Game Fest presentation, although time will tell. Project Awakening, announced in 2016 for PS4, is a fantasy role-playing game developed using Cygames’ Cyllista game engine.

The latest gameplay trailer is from 2018 and shows a medieval-looking warrior fighting a giant monster. South Korean GRAC rated Project Awakening: Arise in February 2019, and a demo video of the engine appeared two years later, but there have still been no other updates.
