Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most demanding open world games available on PC and consoles, but it appears we’ve reached the point where some Android devices can run the game with acceptable performance.
As reported by Pixel Gamer 4K on X/Twitter, CD Projekt Red’s open world game can run on the Lenovo Legion Y70 with a Snapdragon 8+Gen 1 Adreno 730 processor via the Mobox emulator at 720p resolution and high settings. While performance often suffers and there are plenty of visual glitches, it’s still incredibly impressive to see a game like Cyberpunk 2077 running on a mobile device.
It’s almost funny to see Cyberpunk 2077 running on powerful Android devices, as it definitely runs better than when it launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since its disastrous release in late 2020, the CD Projekt Red-developed game has turned around thanks to amazing post-launch support, culminating with the release of the 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty expansion last year.
