It looks like an unannounced horror film for PlayStation 5developed by the studio Firespritehas survived recent cancellations at Sony.

For the first time, information about the horror game from Firesprite appeared back in 2022, however Sonу never officially spoke about it, and due to the recent mass layoffs and closures at PlayStation, there were fears that the project might have died even before its announcement.

However, one Reddit user drew attention to the programmer’s portfolio William Webster, which detailed his work on an unannounced project. Since then, the developer has closed his page, but the information has already leaked online.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Webster has been with Firesprite for several years and has been involved in the creation of “narrative horror game. One of his main tasks was to ensure that the project worked with 60 fps in resolution 4K. It was also separately noted that development is being carried out on the engine Unreal Engine 5.

There is speculation that Firesprite may be working on a sequel Until Dawnbut there is no convincing evidence of this at the moment.
