The MudRunner franchise didn’t end with the weak release of Expeditions A MudRunner Game. Now Saber Interactive will try to enter new entertainment territory
Expeditions A MudRunner Game was released in March 2024. Judging by open data from Steam, the game is not doing well: ratings are not very high, and there are several hundred players online at the end of April.
However, Saber Interactive https://twitter.com/SaberGames/status/1783105929627443543 work: not only updates for SnowRunner are being prepared, but also a new project for MudRunner. The developers will try to reach a new audience – they are going to explore the VR direction.
The MudRunner VR project will be a new game in the off-road Saber series. It is being developed for Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro* devices. The release is expected “soon”, without a more specific date yet.
According to Saber Interactive, MudRunner VR will offer “8 powerful off-road vehicles, extreme wilderness conditions, and the ability to get out of the car and interact with your surroundingsm“
