On October 24, 2022, Bethesda Studios announced their intention to use the power of PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to improve Fallout 4. A lot has happened in the industry since the announcement, but the team has kept its word.

Fallout 4 will receive a free update with quality and performance modes on consoles, a number of fixes and stability improvements. The developers have confirmed that the game will run at 60 frames per second and at a higher resolution.

On PC you can play on widescreen monitors. The studio said the patch will include Creation Kit fixes and numerous mission updates.

More content is coming to Fallout 4, including the following free Creation Club items:

  • “Survivors of the Enclave” introduces a pre-war Enclave conspiracy into the Fallout 4 plot, where you need to stop the organization from spreading a dangerous ideology and gaining a foothold in the Commonwealth?
  • In addition to the workshop items and uniform of the Enclave Colonel, previously released content will be added:

    • Tesla Cannon
    • Hellfire Power Armor
    • X-02 Power Armor
    • Heavy Incinerator

  • Halloween Workshop: 38 new Halloween decorations – witches, cauldrons, ghouls and more.
