We meet the main character Kang Ji Won in the hospital after a major operation. She has stomach cancer and has a maximum of six months to live. It’s spring outside, everyone is enjoying life, which greatly contrasts with the heroine’s state.
Best friend Jung Soo Min visits the girl. The latter is glad to meet you and considers herself very lucky to have such support. During the conversation, the heroine notices Su Min’s new scarlet shoes, the color of which resembles blood. At the same time, the heroine worries that her husband Park Min Hwan He cheats on her, but there is no evidence.

Suddenly, Ji Won is asked to leave the hospital – it turns out that no one paid for her treatment. The heroine is forced to go home. The first thing she sees on the threshold is Su Ming’s scarlet shoes. She overhears her friend and her husband discussing insurance benefits in the event of her death.
A quarrel breaks out. Min Hwan pushes his wife, she falls on a glass table and dies on April 12, 2023. And then he suddenly wakes up in 2013 – long before marriage and illness. Ji Won goes back in time and at the same time remembers everything that happened to her. She knows that neither her future husband nor her friend can be trusted. And this is where the fun begins.
What I liked
The series has a very twisted plot. The heroine cannot simply break off the friendship, refuse the groom and change jobs. Already in 2013 Park Min Hwan spends her money as if it were his own. There are almost no savings, you can’t just change jobs. TO to the same her boyfriend is a true narcissist. He believes that no one dares to leave him. When Ji Won tries to break up, the hero starts a scandal that ends in the police station. And there everything is according to the classics: “When they kill you, then come.”
This is what I liked about the series. The heroine understands that it will not be easy, but still thinks through a rescue plan and puts it into practice. It includes wonderful points that will protect you from abusive relationships.
The role of Kang Ji Won was played by actress Park Min-young, who played in the drama “What Happened to Secretary Kim?”
Building personal boundaries, respect and self-care. First of all, Ji Won goes to the hospital, gets examined and finds out that there are no big problems with his stomach yet. All she needs to do is take pills and stress less. Already great.
In addition, the heroine begins to be more critical of the behavior of her friend and boyfriend. So it would be necessary act in other circumstances – and without the ability to travel in time. If somebody sets you up, insults and humiliates you, there is no need to come up with excuses for the person. And even more so, look for reasons within yourself.
Money. In order not to depend on her husband in the future and change jobs, Kang Ji Won need money. The heroine is looking for ways to earn them. How it’s great to know the future and understand what is worth investing in.
Supportive and friendly environment. Throughout the series, Ji Won tries to find true friends who will truly love her and help her in difficult situations. What is important is that the heroine also learns to support so as not to give all of herself to wear and tear. Ask for and accept help, but don’t feel obligated or guilty.

Ji Won learns to stand up for her rights at work. So she suddenly moves up the career ladder, protects her colleagues, who also suffer from a tyrant boss.
The heroine takes responsibility for her happiness. My favorite episode was the one where the director of the company, handsome Yoo Ji Hyuk, offers to help her. But the heroine proudly says that she wants to figure everything out herself and become happy. And she succeeds.
The heroine is transformed
The drama has a lot of cute supporting characters. My favorite characters are Yoo Hiyeon and Park Eunho. The first is a simply stunning, charming woman, Ji Won’s colleague. The second is the most beautiful and sweet shy chef, who was the heroine’s first love. They both make this series a hundred times more cozy.
The show has a surprise ending. We bet you will never guess who Ji Won gave her husband to and who she later married.
I recommend this drama to everyone who considers their life to be a draft. To everyone who thinks that they can live a real, happy life somehow then, when he saves everyone and everything works out.
