The series “My Fair Nanny” was released in 2004 and became popular thanks to its interesting plot and talented cast. The main roles were played by Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, Sergei Zhigunov and Olga Prokofieva. The series tells the story of nanny Victoria Prutkovskaya. She, as we remember from the title song, worked in a boutique in Biryulyovo until her boyfriend threw her out of work. And so a simpleton with a characteristic accent gets a job in the family of a wealthy businessman Maxim Shatalin.
20 years have passed since the series was released, and the actors have changed a lot. Unfortunately, the legendary Lyubov Polishchuk is no longer alive. The fate of the main character was the most dramatic. Anastasia Zavorotnyuk married figure skater Pyotr Chernyshev, and in 2018 they had a daughter, Mila (the actress also has a daughter, Anna, and a son, Michael, from a previous marriage). Since 2019, the actress has stopped appearing in public due to a serious illness – a brain tumor. Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology Alexander Makarov said that experimental treatment was used to save her life – and Zavorotnyuk was indeed saved. But, of course, there was no talk of returning to a full life – relatives do not show Anastasia to the public. All of her latest photos date back to 2019 (see our gallery). In 2022, blogger Rustam Solntsev identified the sick Zavorotnyuk in her husband’s car in a photo published on the Internet.
As for other heroes, Sergei Zhigunov is engaged in producing activities. Olga Prokofieva continues to act in theater and cinema, and also leads an active social life. The same can be said about Konstantin’s butler, Boris Smolkin. And his son Gleb Smolkin, paired with Eteri Tutberidze’s daughter Diana Davis, is a famous pair of figure skaters who have now moved to America.
