In an interview with Natalya Podolskaya, she said that she did the wrong thing then, using her fame and influence to help her daughter win the competition. At the same time, the singer almost burst into tears in the frame.
“I overestimated myself, my capabilities, and took advantage of it. It’s not fair to other children. Their parents didn’t have two million followers. I probably want to publicly apologize to them. I just want to find the right words. So that people understand that all this was not planned, no one expected it, no one wanted it, naturally,” Alsou said.

At the same time, it was previously obvious to everyone that the audience’s favorite was the Kazakh boy Erzhan Maxim. After summing up the results, a scandal broke out and viewers began to demand a review of the results, accusing Alsou of using connections.
“You have to be crazy to want what happened next. We just all love our children, we want to help them as much as we can. It was unfair and wrong on my part. Therefore, I want to apologize to Michela, to everyone, well, everything happened the way it happened,” Alsou said.
She told Podolskaya that she had not slept and was taking sedatives, and took her daughter’s phone to protect her from angry comments. Channel One decided to cancel the voting results, calling it anomalous. Then daughter Alsou received 56% of the votes of viewers, and a native of Uralsk – 27%. Yerzhan Maxim now lives in Kazakhstan and continues to sing.
