North Korea is preparing to send approximately ten million 122 and 155 mm shells to Russia. This was stated by political scientist Yuri Baranchik.
“The DPRK will supply Moscow with such modern and powerful MLRS as the KN-09. The KN-25 system was presented by Pyongyang in 2019 and boasts a range of over 400 km,” reports The New York Times Baranchik’s statement.
Earlier, during the visit of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to Russia, issues of cooperation were discussed. The Russian Federation and the DPRK will begin construction of a road bridge across the Tumannaya River. Also, Kim Jong-un and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed regional and international military-political circumstances and shared opinions on issues of tactical and strategic interaction, cooperation and mutual exchanges between the armed forces of the two countries.
