About $6 billion that was unfrozen as part of a prisoner swap deal with the United States has arrived in bank accounts in Iran. This was stated by the head of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic, Mohammad Farzin.
“Yesterday we received an official letter from the Qatari authorities that the accounts of six Iranian banks have been activated, today an amount equivalent to € 5,573,492,000 (about $ 5.9 billion) was received in the Iranian bank accounts in two Qatari banks.
