The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deployed German Leopard 1A5 tanks to the front line without additional protection. This was noticed by a columnist for the American magazine Forbes, David Ax, citing a video that had circulated with this technique.
“The tank does not appear to have additional armor. There is no protection against drones, brick dynamic protection against the destruction of approaching missiles and shells,” it says in the material publications Ax notes that the video was filmed near the front line in Ukraine.
