Vilfand warned of a record hot winter
It’s all about gases and heating the water.
Scientific Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warned of a hot winter. According to him, December and the whole year will be record hot.
“This is due to anthropogenic and natural factors,” the meteorologist said in an interview with TASS.
Scientists analyzed the dynamics of trace gases that determine climate and found that their concentration continues to increase. This poses a huge threat due to the combination of El Niño – rising temperatures in the equatorial Pacific – which is having a global impact. Next year won’t be cold either.
The El Niño process in the Pacific Ocean is associated with a restructuring of currents. We are talking about heating the water in the ocean, which has a huge impact on the weather on a global scale.
Let us remind you that earlier Roman Vilfand warned about a wave of abnormal cold and told where the temperature would drop to 40 degrees. Thus, in a number of regions of the country the air temperature will be seven degrees or more below normal. And some will be covered by a wave of abnormal cold.
