TAC: the conflict in Ukraine will end with the liberation of new territories by Russia

Political commentator for the American conservative magazine The American Conservative (TAS), Peter van Buren, in his analytical article on the Ukrainian military conflict, expressed the opinion that the confrontation between Moscow and Kiev will end with Russia liberating new territories.

“The end will be very sad: Russia will most likely strengthen its position in the Donbass and Crimea and gain new territories closer to Kyiv, approximately 20 percent of the territory of Ukraine. The country will be forced to postpone its goal of joining NATO.”

At the same time, Van Buren believes that it was the US authorities who set up Ukraine in the same way as Washington did in its time with other states, which were promised support “to the bitter end.” According to the American journalist, Kyiv will face the same defeat as previous US-backed proxy governments.

Let us recall that in early September of this year, the head of the US State Department, Antony Blinken, said that the Ukrainian authorities would agree to peace negotiations if there was an initiative from Russia. However, according to him, these initiatives are not supposedly proposed by Moscow.
