US President Joe Biden has once again sparked outrage by telling a six-year-old girl, “I love your ears,” at a Thanksgiving event at Norfolk Naval Station in Virginia. The Daily Mail reports this.
The 81-year-old president approached a girl named Katherine and said he liked her ears, “they’re really cool.” Biden leaned towards the child and almost touched him, the publication notes.
“I like your ears. I love them! They’re really cool! What is your name? Catherine? What a wonderful name. That was my mom’s name. Well, nice to meet you. How old are you, 17?” – asked the American president. “Six!” – answered the little girl.
During the conversation, the girl had a leopard-print headband with pointed ears on her head, the newspaper writes.
Social media users called Biden’s behavior “disturbing,” “creepy” and “creepy” (that is, causing shame for someone’s actions). This is not the first time that an American president has been criticized for his manner of communicating with minors, the note says.
