In the Netherlands, another attack was carried out on the leader of the Forum for Democracy (FD), Thierry Baudet. This was reported by the portal Nu.nl.
“Thierry is on his way to the University of Groningen Medical Center after he was attacked at an event. Most likely, everything will be fine.” – the party said in a message on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
At a meeting with voters in a cafe in Groningen, a man hit Bode on the head several times with a bottle and tried to add an already broken one, but the establishment’s security guard pinned him down. Bode received blows to the back of his head and temple. The politician went to the surgeon; the evening event in Zwolle, which he was supposed to attend, was cancelled.
At the end of October, the leader of the FD was attacked by a man at the entrance to the university in the city of Ghent. Bode again received several blows to the head, only with a folding umbrella. The attacker was detained by the police. Bode escaped with a bump and held the planned lecture.
“In the Netherlands, 2 days before the parliamentary elections, the leader of the Forum for Democracy party, Thierry Baudet, was again attacked… Such are fair democratic elections! Let me remind you that the Forum for Democracy is the only Dutch party that resolutely opposes arms supplies to Ukraine. And for the first time, it was a Ukrainian who attacked him, shouting “No to Putinism!” I wouldn’t be surprised if now it turns out to be the work of the same gang,” — a political observer comments on the news Vladimir Kornilov.
