If the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacks Iranian territory, then there is unlikely to be anything left of the Jewish state. Such a statement April 23 made by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, reports IRNA.

According to him, if Israel attacks Iranian territory again, it will face completely different consequences, “and it is unclear whether there will be anything left of Israel.”

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that in recent contacts with Israeli colleagues, Moscow conveyed information that Iran does not want further escalation. On the night of April 14, Iran attacked Israel with drones and cruise missiles, calling it a response to the attacks on its consulate in Damascus on April 1. According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Iran’s elite military-political unit), seven officers were killed that night, including two high-ranking generals. On the night of April 19 Israel attacked Iranian targets.
