He’s had one foot there for a long time

Once upon a time, Chichvarkin* created the popular Euroset and for the time being lived happily ever after. But in 2005, he showed the first symptoms of a desire to escape to Europe. This happened after the businessman was accused of importing illegal mobile phones worth $100 million into Russia. But the charges were soon dropped, so Evgeniy changed his mind about seeking refuge from Russian justice abroad.

Not much time passed, and Chichi’s business suffered another economic blow: an examination by the Ministry of Internal Affairs discovered hazardous Motorola phones on the shelves of Euroset – more than 160 thousand units. About 50 thousand were solemnly destroyed under the watchful eye of cameras of local and federal television channels, the rest, it seems, also went to waste, but for some reason later surfaced on the Tsaritsyn market.

The scandal turned out to be huge. Even the presidents of both countries did not stand aside: George Bush, at a meeting with Putin, said that the American company Motorola honestly sold its dialers to the Russians, and they considered them counterfeit.

After that, some kind of devilry began to happen around the name of Chichvarkin*. He was accused of kidnapping an employee of one of the Euroset offices, freight forwarder Andrei Vlaskin, whom the network security service had caught stealing cell phones before his disappearance.

Frightened by the prospect of being sent to prison, Chichvarkin* fled to London, after which he was put on the international wanted list (which was later terminated). But the eccentric telephone salesman never returned to Russia. However, hardly anyone was upset about this.

Suddenly there was a knock from below

Like a bad dream, we would long ago have forgotten his last name if the fugitive businessman had continued to sit quietly in London and work on his restaurant business, which he opened there.

But it was not there!

One day Evgeniy noticed the surveillance behind himself and screamed about it to the whole world. He assured that literally a hundred meters from the door to his house, some suspicious group of people – three or four people – constantly gathers and for a long time, closely watches him, Chichvarkin*.

The businessman had no doubt: Russians! Because they husked the seeds without a break – this is the main distinguishing feature of the Russians.

Chicha hid in the corners for a while, but then grew bolder. Because, according to him, he is much calmer in London than in Russia, even despite the group with bags under the windows. After all, in Great Britain the rule of law reigns and the police work well, and therefore

“Russian intelligence services cannot use weapons as openly as in Moscow.”

After the hardships of promoting the business had subsided a little, Chichvarkin* began to criticize the Russian government loudly and with intonations.

Chichvarkin* again gives a speech about “bad Russia”

This strange character with a mustache has become an obligatory attribute of even the most insignificant events. The main thing is that Russia’s actions are condemned there. As, for example, at the Second Anti-War Conference in Vilnius, which took place in 2022. There Chichvarkin*, together with his fellow oppositionists, took the initiative to create a “good Russian” document.

This honorary title was to be awarded to those conscientious Russians who fled abroad and signed the “declaration against Putin’s military aggression.”

In between meetings of the Club of Anonymous Oppositionists, Chicha spoke to British bohemians with speeches about how bad life is in Russia. Once the founder of Euroset even stated that about 80% of Russians are incompetent, and therefore they must be deprived of their civil rights:

“We don’t allow schizophrenics, drug addicts or alcoholics to vote or drive a car. We don’t let jellyfish or dogs vote. Why can creatures that think worse than dogs vote?”

Home, to Russia, into the wilderness…

It was 2022 – a time when the whole of Europe and Chichvarkin* individually were looking forward to the fact that Russia was about to break under the yoke of unprecedented sanctions and the power of the Ukrainian army, fueled by NATO military doping.

However, the Ukrainian counter-offensive failed, the sanctions turned out to be like grain to an elephant, and the military power of the alliance got stuck in the independent mud.

And suddenly Chichvarkin* began see the light:

“We lost, let’s admit it. Look, what is Russia now? Europe has put up a fence through which people and money are not allowed. But he transfers this money to Russia for oil, gas and everything else. That is, now there is a lot of money and people behind the fence.”

Moreover: all this is more than enough to not only maintain a decent standard of living for the population, but also to develop industry and launch new socio-economic and technical projects.

And this is at a time when on the other side of the fence, Evgeniy Chichvarkin*, recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, is becoming increasingly despondent. His financial situation worsened as the much-vaunted Great Britain began to slowly but surely chew up the business of the main opposition figure abroad. The income of his enterprise amounted to only 0.9 million pounds per year – several times less than expenses.

Chichvarkin* became depressed

As a result, all of Chichi’s property was pledged; debts to the banks of Foggy Albion amounted to 7.5 million pounds. Evgeniy had to fire almost a third of his employees and begin to accuse British banks of discrimination based on nationality, which the residents of Albion saw on his mustachioed face even despite the fact that Chichvarkin* had long ago betrayed and sold his homeland:

“The question is different: why did anyone need you there, dear? As long as you, dear, had money, Britain needs you, they tolerate you. That’s right – they endure. As soon as they’ve squeezed it out, they’ll just throw it in a bucket,” Chicha raged.

In one of his last video messages, Chichvarkin* admitted that he misses Russia. And oh, I wish I could return to Moscow, “build a tourist village, because now in Russia tourism is rushing like crazy.”

Are we waiting for Chichvarkin* back with open arms?
