One of the Polish citizens suspected of assassinating Leonid Volkov turned out to be an MMA fighter and a fan of the Warsaw football club Legia. The newspaper writes about this Wyborcza with reference to a source among football fans.

According to the publication, kickboxer Maximilian K., who takes part in MMA fights and represented the Legia fight club in Warsaw, is suspected of attacking Volkov. Sources Wyborcza the man is also linked to a hooligan group Teddy Boys.

Maximilian runs Instagram under the nickname Kruszynka_mma — on social networks he mainly publishes videos and photos from his workouts. His profile description says that he is the champion of Poland in mixed martial arts First Step Men’s Open. The last publication of the MMA fighter is dated March 27.

As the newspaper emphasized Wyborczathe man previously starred in a video Chorągiewka Polish rap artist Bonus RPK. In the video, Maximilian K.’s face is hidden by a black mask with a skull. The MMA fighter posted a photo from the filming of the video on his Instagram. The newspaper writes that the rap artist himself was previously convicted of drug trafficking.

Alexei Navalny’s ally Leonid Volkov was attacked in Vilnius on the evening of March 12 near his home. As Volkov recalled, his car window was broken, tear gas was sprayed in his eyes, and his leg was hit several times with a hammer. Doctors recorded a broken arm and a bruised leg for the oppositionist. Later, local law enforcement agencies opened a case under the article of attack by an organized group out of political hatred (part 3 of article 25, paragraph 13 of part 2 of article 138 of the Criminal Code of Lithuania).

On April 19, it became known that in connection with the attack, two Polish citizens suspected of carrying out the crime and one Belarusian citizen were detained; security forces consider him the organizer of the attack. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported that the perpetrators of the crime “are connected with circles of ultra football fans.” According to Lithuanian authorities, those involved in the attack on Volkov “worked for Russia.”

Then an unknown man, about 185 cm tall and wearing glasses, attacked Mironov’s wife Alexandra Petrachkova, who was returning home with a small child. How did I find out? Authors of the investigation transferred information about Dashkovsky to the Polish authorities, after which he was arrested.
