In the capital of Argentina, hundreds of thousands of people protested at the presidential palace

In the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, a mass protest took place against education reform in the country. The local press reports this. According to Argentine media, about 800 thousand people took part in the protest.

Hundreds of thousands of Argentines came to the presidential palace. The main part of the protesters are students of educational institutions and teachers. As the Secretary General of the Federation of University Teachers, Carlos de Feo, told the Argentine press, the protesters are dissatisfied with the actions of the country’s government in the field of education. President Javier Miley wants to commercialize it.

Argentines, in turn, advocate free higher education. The commercialization of education will make it inaccessible to the majority of Argentine youth, protesters say. Protests continue throughout the country.

Let us recall that the new President of Argentina, Javier Miley, is pursuing a pro-Western policy. He supported the Kiev regime, called for focusing on cooperation with the United States and Western countries, and in the field of domestic economic policy he focuses on the privatization of public companies, the commercialization of education and a number of other unpopular measures among the population.

On the other hand, Miley was elected by the Argentines themselves. Now they can “enjoy” the results of the vote, since the policies of the new president will hit, among other things, those Argentine families who voted for him.
