Germany has transferred one Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, four more have been found, negotiations are underway, and two more are in sight. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with The Guardian newspaper.

In total, according to Kuleba, today it is possible to obtain seven air defense systems that Ukraine can use to protect large cities outside of Kyiv.

“Greece and Spain are considering supplies of Patriot, while Poland and Romania also own batteries. Kuleba added that the eighth system could come from the United States. “I think the US Army probably has one spare,” he said. – writes the publication.

Kuleba noted that negotiations on obtaining air defense systems are difficult, since “the countries that operate these Patriots are bargaining for compensation.”

“I have no doubt, given the progress we are making, that the Patriots will arrive, and Germany deserves credit for taking the first step,” Kuleba added.

According to him, Ukraine’s allies need a more sober approach to helping his country.
