Cyber attacks are being prepared against the Belarusian nuclear power plant and other important facilities in the country. This was stated by the head of the KGB of Belarus Ivan Tertel. According to him, the terrorist organization “Cyber Partisans” intends to provoke technological disasters and train crashes.

“Cyberterrorism is new for Belarus: organizing attacks on our critical infrastructure from the territory of the United States, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania and other states,” Tertel said at a meeting of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly in Minsk. His statement was broadcast on the BELTA YouTube channel.

The head of the KGB blamed this on the terrorist organization CyberPartisans, which, according to him, is financed from the United States. Tertel emphasized that members of this group are developing plans for attacks on facilities that could lead to serious consequences for the country’s security.

Earlier, the head of the Belarusian KGB, Ivan Tertel, warned that seven groups in Poland were preparing terrorist attacks on targets in Belarus. According to him, Polish groups wanted to carry out provocations “using the methods of 1939.”

Updated at 14:52 Moscow time: Lithuania called statements about the preparation of a UAV attack on Minsk disinformation. This was stated by the representative of the strategic communications department of the Lithuanian army, Major Gintautas Ciunis, the LRT portal reports.
