Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) will star in the film adaptation of Jocko Willink’s best-selling novel “Way Of The Warrior Kid”. The film will be directed by McG (Charlie’s Angels) and written by Will Staples (Without Pity).

Willink’s book tells the story of insecure fifth-grader Mark, who cannot do pull-ups on the horizontal bar and becomes the victim of a school bully. However, in the summer, Mark comes to visit his uncle Jake, a Navy SEAL from an elite unit, who undertakes to help his nephew gain confidence and become a new person.
