According to the latest data from SberAuto and SberStrakhovanie, Lada Granta has become the leader in online sales since the beginning of 2024. This confirms the status of the model as one of the most popular among Russian buyers, Izvestia reports. In the first quarter of this year, cars from brands from Japan, Germany and Russia were the most popular among Russians. Among them, Lada took a significant share, especially thanks to the Granta model, which demonstrates high sales on the SberAuto platform. Also on the list of popular models were Hyundai Solaris, Ford Focus, Kia Rio, Volkswagen Polo and Lada Vesta. According to SberStrakhovanie, the most popular among the insured brands is Kia, which accounts for 9% of all CASCO policies, followed by Lada and Hyundai with a share of 7%. This year, Lada is in fifth place, replacing Volkswagen and proving steady interest in the domestic automaker. Ruslan Vesterovsky, senior vice president and head of the Wealth Management block of Sberbank, notes that the majority of CASCO policies were issued in Moscow, the Moscow region and St. -Petersburg. He also emphasized that the greatest demand for insurance is for three-year-old cars.
