The Russian car market may soon be replenished with an interesting new product from China – the Chery iCar 03 electric crossover, which will be sold under the Jaecoo brand and the new name EJ6. The new product promises to bring fresh technology and style to the affordable electric vehicle segment. The Chery iCar 03 or Jaecoo EJ6 has a boxy shape, large wheels and protective plastic covers, which gives it a distinctive appearance and enhances its off-road performance. The car will offer two versions: a single-engine with a power of 184 hp. and all-wheel drive with two engines with a total power of 279 hp. The maximum range of these models varies from 401 to 501 kilometers on a single charge. In China, Chery iCar 03 is sold at prices ranging from 1.7 million rubles for the base model to 2.4 million rubles for the top version. In Russia, it is expected that a car under the Jaecoo brand and model name EJ6 will go on sale in 2025, but the final decision on the launch of sales will be made taking into account the market situation in the second half of 2024, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
