The Mornine robot is a humanoid embodiment of artificial intelligence. She knows cars and can cook dinner.
This is a joint development of Chery and Aimoga. The robot will mark the beginning of a new ecosystem of customer service for the company around the world.
Generally, anthropomorphic robots fall into two main categories: those that exhibit high levels of biomimicry—with human-like faces and arm movements but no walking abilities—and those that favor walking abilities but often exhibit lower levels of biomimicry. The Mornine robot combines both qualities.
Her face is made of silicone material, which allows her to imitate human facial expressions and express emotions, such as smiling or being surprised.
Mornine runs at speeds of up to 4 km/h.
The robot is equipped with large language models (LLMs) that simulate language comprehension and production. This ability allows Mornine to accurately interpret people’s verbal or written commands and translate them into specific action strategies.
What makes Mornine special is that it understands Chery cars. Using this knowledge base, the robot can engage in casual conversations with users and provide detailed, professional answers to automotive questions.
This development will form the basis of a completely new customer service ecosystem. In the first phase of its development, Mornine will act as an experienced consultant to dealerships. The next phase will include other capabilities such as visual recognition and autonomous navigation. The robot will be able to move independently and direct visitors to the places, rooms, and specific locations of objects, things, and people they need. After the third transformation, scenarios for using the Mornine robot will include actions as an assistant in caring for the home, for the elderly, assistance in preparing meals, and participation in the education of children.
As a result, Mornine will be able to take on the role of a caring family member, deeply involved in people’s lives.
