Dmitry Malikov updated social networks with a photo of 61-year-old German musician, ex-soloist of the Modern Talking group, Thomas Anders.

The stars met backstage at one of the concerts in Kazakhstan. Judging by the smiles on their faces, both Dmitry and Thomas were pleased with the meeting.

“I grew up listening to his songs. And he’s on mine,” Malikov joked.

Dmitry’s subscribers appreciated his sense of humor and admired Thomas’s appearance: “This is what real men should look like,” “What a handsome guy,” “Heroes of my youth,” “Two legends!” Two stars,” “You both refuse to grow old, it’s unbearable.”

Thomas Anders gained worldwide fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of the duo Modern Talking, in which he sang together with Dieter Bohlen.

The duo sold more than 60 million records, which received 40 platinum and more than 200 gold awards, but broke up in 1987.

The group made several attempts to reunite, but finally ceased to exist in 2003. At the same time, Bohlen released his autobiography, “Behind the Scenes,” in which he accused Thomas of misappropriating common money.

Anders responded by accusing his former partner of libel and suing him. Since then, the ex-colleagues have not communicated, performing the group’s hits separately.
