“My time on earth has been shortened”: Miss World semi-finalist Diveja Smith died of cancer

“Given the speed at which metastases grow and spread throughout the body, my time on this earth has shortened faster than expected. My treatment at the moment is whatever will give me as much time as possible without affecting my quality of life so that I can live and enjoy this wonderful life for as long as possible. It’s not hard to imagine the toll such news takes on my mental health. However, thanks to my amazing surroundings and medications, preparing for the inevitable, but also living and enjoying each day, is somehow achievable. I’m so happy for the love around me,” Diveja confessed.
