The Fallout series has been renewed for a second season. Although the first season has been available since April 11, the showrunners are already thinking about the future.

Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet spoke about the show’s setting in season two, stating that the series will not follow one of the game’s canonical endings.

The version of New Vegas shown in the series is different from the one in the video game. In fact, the TV adaptation shows the city in ruins.

Wagner explained in an interview with GQ that this was done so that there would be no expectation that the series would follow one of the many canonical endings present in the game.

The team planned to show what happened in New Vegas after the events of the video game, as the series takes place fifteen years later.

The Fallout series is a real success: according to a report, it received more than 5 million views in its first week on Amazon Prime Video alone.
