Capcom will remove the action game Dark Void and the puzzle game Flock from sale on Steam – Gambling

--

Capcom is going to be removed from sale in Steam a number of its products. Warnings about this were noticed in three games at once, which will disappear from sale on the night of May 9 this year. Until then, they’re heavily discounted as part of the Capcom Golden Week Sale.

We are talking about the following games:

  • Dark Void (2010) – a futuristic third-person shooter with mixed reviews;
  • Dark Void: Zero (2010) – a spin-off of the previous game, made in the form of a retro platformer and received mixed reviews;
  • Flock! (2009) is a casual puzzle game with very positive reviews.

The listed three games will disappear from sale on Steam, but will remain available for play by their customers. The reasons for withdrawal from sale are not stated. It may be that Capcom doesn’t want to renew the rights to any licensed content from these games. However, there is no announcement in the Microsoft Store or PSN about the exclusion of Dark Void from sale.

This is not the only such move from Capcom recently. Last month, the pirate strategy Age of Booty disappeared from sale in the Microsoft Store, and in February two parts left the digital shelves of Steam Devil May Cry. The reasons were also not explained.
