The wind quintet of the Pskov College of Arts performed at the Picture Gallery

“Pictures at an Exhibition” by composer Modest Mussorgsky was performed by a quintet of wind instruments of teachers, students and graduates of the Pskov Regional College of Arts named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the Picture Gallery of the Pskov Museum-Reserve, the press service of the educational organization told PAI.

The speech was an addition to the art historian’s story about the works of the outstanding marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky, presented in the halls of the Art Gallery. Especially for the thematic excursion, two works by the artist were exhibited from the museum’s funds, which are not currently on display.
