In the regional center, repair work is being carried out in the building for the Vologda branch of the Yaroslavl State Medical University on Batyushkova Street, 2, reports the press service of the head of the region, Georgy Filimonov.

“Funds have been allocated for ongoing repairs so that students can study in comfortable conditions at the beginning of the new academic year,” Georgy Filimonov said at an operational meeting in the Regional Government.

A contractor has been appointed to carry out routine repairs. Work is being carried out as usual. They should be completed within a month.

Let us remind you that an agreement on cooperation in the field of medical education was concluded between the government of the Vologda region and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Yaroslavl State Medical University” of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

It is planned that from September 1, 75 places will be open for the specialty “General Medicine”, 30 places for residency training in six specialties: “Therapy”, “Pediatrics”, “Anesthesiology-Reanimatology”, “General Medical Practice (Family Medicine) “, “Otorhinolaryngology” and “Ophthalmology”.
