Nizhny Novgorod police seized almost a ton of illegally sold alcohol

The raids were carried out in order to prevent offenses in the area of ​​trafficking in alcohol and alcohol-containing products.

On the territory of the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, employees of the department for the implementation of administrative legislation of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region carried out raids on places where alcoholic beverages were sold, the press service of the department reports.

In total, police seized more than 837 liters of alcoholic beverages from illegal circulation.

Thus, at a retail outlet on Ilyich Avenue, police officers seized 730 liters of alcoholic beverages from illegal circulation. An administrative violation report was drawn up against the owner of the retail premises.

58 liters of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were seized from a bar on Kosmicheskaya Street. Protocols on administrative offenses have also been drawn up against the owner of the outlet.
