Kursk 04/24/2024. ABIREG.RU – The government of the Kursk region has amended the resolution describing the volumes of financing for road construction and repairs in municipalities for the next 3 years. With the corresponding document signed and. O. First Deputy Governor Alexei Dedov got acquainted with “Abireg”.

We are talking about subsidies to Kursk municipalities, which were supposed to be distributed in 2024-2025, but now the funding has “moved to the right” and covers 2024-2026.

So, this year only three municipalities will receive money under the document: Bolshesoldatsky, Kursk and Sovetsky (almost 10 million rubles in total). In 2025-2026, another 241 million rubles will be allocated to six districts.

“Unfortunately, road maintenance has completely dropped out of our planned programs. And just with this, if not a disaster, then a problem. The average indicator of allocated funding is only 38% of the standard, while in 17 regions it is less than 20%,” Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit recently told a profile commission of the State Council.

In early April, the Kursk Regional Duma approved an increase in the region’s budget deficit for 2024 to 8.1 billion rubles.
