“Due to existing threats to public safety, central headquarters has decided not to hold the march in person in 2024.”
Last year, the “Immortal Regiment” campaign was already held throughout the country in other formats. People talked about their relatives, heroes of the Great Patriotic War on their pages on social networks, and then these stories were posted on the main website of the Immortal Regiment of Russia. In addition, citizens placed portraits of veterans on their personal vehicles, on their clothes, and on the windows of their houses.
To create a T-shirt, the Immortal Regiment website has a designer in which you can select a background for a photo, sign the veteran’s name and dates of his life.
There will also be a broadcast with photographs of the heroes. You can add a photo of a relative on the Immortal Regiment website. On May 9 there will be a broadcast in which portraits of the heroes will be shown.
Another format is “Memory Galleries”. Portraits of decorated heroes of the Great Patriotic War will be placed in public places, which anyone can see. It is expected that such galleries will be open from May 1.
