The executive secretary of the “Theological Bulletin of the Smolensk Orthodox Theological Seminary,” Priest Maxim Mishchenko, took part in the webinar “On the inclusion of scientific publications in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission and on further work with scientific publications,” held at the site of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Research Institute of Economics, Politics and Law in scientific and technical sphere” (RIEPP).

Editors-in-chief, deputy editors-in-chief, and members of the editorial boards of scientific publications were invited to participate in the webinar.

Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Higher Attestation Commission and the scientific community spoke at the webinar.

The main topics of the webinar include:

  • legal regulation of peer-reviewed scientific publications, including the organization of a system for recording publications from journals that ensure the reproduction of scientific personnel;
  • categorization of journals that have applied for inclusion in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the scientific degree of Doctor of Science should be published and work with the portal of the RNL database.

Let us remind you that the “Theological Bulletin of the Smolensk Orthodox Theological Seminary” as of December 19, 2023 is included in the current List of peer-reviewed publications (N°2563) of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).
