Reviews of combined fire extinguishing teams are held in all districts of Nizhny Novgorod

In all districts of Nizhny Novgorod, reviews of consolidated fire crews are held in April.

According to the city Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, one of the first reviews was held in Sormovo, where the second largest district forest district of urban forests is located. Fire hydrants are currently being inspected, and previously all bodies of water were inspected.

According to the first deputy head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration Denis Skalkin, Mayor Yuri Shalabaev approved a plan to extinguish forest fires in the city. Plowing is underway for the upcoming fire season, and 130 km of mineralized strips have already been renewed.

Based on the results of the inspection, the equipment and people are currently ready for work. In total, for the upcoming forest fire season, 313 km of mineralized strips will be laid in urban forests, 137 barriers and 119 warning signs will be installed.

Let us remind you that from April 22, a special fire regime was introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Nizhny Novgorod residents are reminded that violation of fire safety requirements in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 20.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation entails the imposition of an administrative fine:

– for citizens: in the amount of 10 thousand to 20 thousand rubles;
– for officials: from 30 thousand to 60 thousand rubles;
– for individual entrepreneurs: from 60 thousand to 80 thousand rubles;
– for legal entities: from 400 thousand to 800 thousand rubles.

In addition, during the spring and summer, it is necessary to follow fire safety rules: do not burn dry grass; do not light fires in dry and windy weather, do not leave them unextinguished; resolutely suppress any games of teenagers and children with fire.

Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region was recognized as ready for the fire season as a result of an inspection by the Forestry Department of the Volga Federal District.
