The final of the regional competition is taking place today at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the media learned44.
The regional competition “Student of the Year” has been held since 2004 in two categories: “Best graduate of primary school” and “Best graduate of secondary school.”
The qualifying stage of the competition took place from April 10 to April 19. 43 schoolchildren of grades 9 and 11 from 26 municipalities of the region took part in it. 26 participants made it to the finals, the Department of Education and Science of the Kostroma Region reported.
Today, the finalists will undergo three face-to-face tests of the main round – self-presentation, creative and intellectual competitions. Based on the results, the jury will determine the winners in each category.
