The Lipetsk organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind celebrated its seventieth anniversary. For people with visual impairments, this organization is an integral part of life. Thanks to her, they find activities of interest, play sports, and find employment. The regional branch includes 12 branches from all over the region. They number more than three thousand people. About a hundred of them work successfully in production, where all conditions are created.
On April 23, at the anniversary celebration there were not only congratulations. Society activists were awarded anniversary medals, badges of honor from the government of the Lipetsk region and letters of gratitude.
“It is very valuable and special that the formation and creation of the society of the blind occurred precisely at the moment when our Lipetsk land was born. This speaks of history, speaks of traditions, and I can confidently say that the organization, which celebrates its 70th anniversary today, is one of the most active, most efficient, creative and creative,” noted First Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region Alexander Ryabchenko.
“Those citizens who are registered with us work in various fields. Some are massage therapists in medicine, some are teachers in public education, some are teachers in music schools. So our citizens are such active people who try to realize themselves as much as possible,” Nikolai Sarychev, chairman of the Lipetsk regional organization of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, told Lipetsk Time.
