Novosibirsk baths are preparing free tea and discounts on Maundy Thursday

The Christian holiday will be celebrated in public baths in Novosibirsk. Maundy Thursday, May 2, will be celebrated with promotions and discounts, the city hall press center reported.

The network of municipal budgetary institutions “BH Sibiryachka” is preparing a “Friendly Tea Party”. Everyone will be treated to a hot, aromatic drink and sweet treats. Visitors are welcome at wash stations No. 36, 19 and 26 on Petropavlovskaya, Pervomaiskaya and Chekalina. The last one will be Women’s Day. The general rate is 293 rubles per hour, the preferential rate is 136 rubles.

In the central shopping “Fedorovskie Baths” on Sovetskaya, all guests will have collective steaming sessions every two hours using the natural aromas of medicinal herbs from the Altai Mountains and the Krasnodar Territory. The same events will be held at the Parovozov bath complexes on Dusi Kovalchuk and Mylovar on Kurchatova.

At Sanduny on Kamenskaya they will offer a 50% discount for beneficiaries. In the academic baths on Musa Jalil Street, the cost of a two-hour steam bath will be reduced to 240 rubles. Pensioners, students, combatants, disabled people of groups 1 and 2, and large families can take advantage of the promotion. For other visitors until 16:00 they will charge 500 rubles for the same service. Everyone will receive a gift: a mug of homemade kvass or 20 minutes in a salt cave.

The municipality plans to give concession to the Guryev Baths, which are currently mothballed.
